How do I get mms to open on my Nokia lumia 635 from an sms message?

I have gotten several sms messages, with a mms included, and I cannot open it. What do I do?

Make sure your cellular data is working.

Also, what is your service provider?

Search the internet for "<carrier name> MMS settings" and save the page or write down the values.

On your 635 go to Settings > cellular + SIM > SIM settings > edit MMS APN and make sure the values match the ones in the search.
