[L625] Wont turn on, whats happened to my phone?

i changed the broken screen on my phone to a new one, however my phone will not turn on, the only time it works is when its on charge and all that happens is show the start up screen and a low battery charging symbol, ive left it to charge for about an hour but there is no change, im not sure whats happened...

It seems like a battery problem. Have it checked at the service center to have it diagnosed or possibly replaced.
