WP Recovery (Rollback 10 to 8.1)

Anything I should know before rolling back, like do I need to turn off my firewall or anti virus, and does it download and reflash instantaneously or downloads the entire file Then installs (I have a spotty internet connection, don't want to risk bricking my phone just because the internet connection dropped at some point)?

PS. It's an AT&T Lumia 635 USA
If I should use Lumia instead of WP recovery let me know.

Just need to know in case I still have bad ram management issues and apps not properly closing like they should in the next build next week.

No, the lumia recovery is for pre-wp8 phones, you need to use windows phone recovery tool.

You start the program, then connect the phone and the program detects it; then it downloads the entire file (it is about 1.3GB) and only at last there's the reflashing process. Anyway the installation file is checked before it's flashed, so you don't have to be worried about the connection. And i left my antivirus and firewall active with no problem at all

Thank you very much for the info and reassurance! I've been worrying about rolling back because of my internet issues as of late. Looks like I'll be just fine. ^^

Here's to hoping the next build fixes the ram issues a bit better, and the scaling issues are solved. I'll miss many of the handy features Win10M brings otherwise, but I'll definitely come back once its a good fit.
