[Help] Lumia 521 wont update?

I have a Nokia lumia 521 and my phone will download the updates and then it gives me error when it trys to install it on my phone. I cant do anything but text and call . I cant even recieve pictures and Its making me mad.

backup everything (settings > backup) and then use the windows phone recovery tool to flash the latest firmware for your phone, this way it will be good as new. if you connect it to the computer after powering it off, the tool will just read the phone model and not the installed firmware version, so the flashing will happen with no problem at all
