trying to move pics from the phone to my pc.

connections are good, tried another phone. appears to be mine. I take alot of pics and do this almost every day. Now it can't find my phone to move the pics. not sure what to do.

Have you tried connecting that phone to a different computer and see if that phone gets detected?

What kinda of phone do you have? Aren't you using the OneDrive app?
