lumia 520,proximity sensor not working.

I bought nokia lumia 520 one and half years back. and the touch pad was broken accidently. I replaced new "original" touch pad. And now the proximity sensor is not working. eventhough i moved my fingers near the sensor, it is not working.please help me.

When you did the repair of the screen are you sure that you did not "block" the sensor with for example double sided tap or damage it during repair?
Please check some youtube video's and double check your repair.
