Unable to see, copy or open the "Pro_highres" photo files after deleting the smaller "Pro" files?

Have copied the "Pro_highres" files to my computer and deleted the smaller "Pro" files on the phone (Lumia 930) in order to save space. To me it seems logical that the larger files are the master files and should not be affected by removal of the smaller copies. However, the highres files which by mistake were not copied before the the smaller Pro files were deleted can not be opened, copied or viewed. The larger files can be opened on the computer even without the presence of the smaller files. While the phone is connected to the computer it is still possible to see the file names of the highres files on the computer screen but not on the phone - and again - I can not copy them from the phone to the computer nor open the files. What has happened and how to I get access to these photos??!! Thanks for any help!

Use File Browser on your computer to rename them to the file name of the 5MP version.

I'm finding that manipulation of the High Res jpegs from Lumia Camera on the phone is just not worth the blasted efforts. Shoot 5MP + High Res DNG and put Rawer on your phone. Then shoot your High Res jpegs in ProShot or Camera360 Sight and access them as normal through Camera Roll.

On the phone, if you delete the 5MP the high res picture is also deleted.
You can cut/paste all high res pics to the PC and keep the small pics on the phone.
