My windows phone got switched off during phone update what to do now?

The message shown that it will take 5 to 10 minutes , but the process was going on for an hour in my phone and it got switched off,I HAVE PLUGGED IN POWER SUPPLY BUT NOTHING IS THERE ON SCREEN EXCEPT POWER SYMBOL

The same thing happened on my Lumia 625.
You need to let it charge for a few hours.
Once you have done that, try a soft reset (Hold power + volume down buttons until phone vibrates).
It should then power back on and carry on with the install (mine did).
