Why can't I download new apps on my Lumia 635?

For almost a month now I have been able to download NOTHING on my Lumia 635. No new apps, no updates. NOTHING. It's ALLLLLLLLL stuck in "pending" HHEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLPPP

Hi. Before anyone can help I'm afraid we're going to need some more information.

Which system are you running?

Is this over your mobile or a wi-fi connection?

If you're using Windows 10, then many of these problems can be solved by performing a hard reset.

What actions have you taken in an attempt to resolve the issue? Have you tried restarting your phone, performing a soft reset, using a different internet connections, clearing your phone temporary data and cache?
