How to make a phone number, with country code be detected as one number?

Here in my country:
we have 8 digits numbers:

If we save a contact using the number: 5926****
For calls everything is perfect! But when
we receive a text message from them: we get a reply from the number +230926****, which is detected as another number!!! [where +230 is the country code which is automatically added to the contact's number]
Previous Nokia models had no issue with this, but all lumia models are facing this two different number problem. Any solution for this??

Check if your country is set correctly on your phone. Also from phone settings enable International assist.
