i can't call or receive calls no service showing on screen

i have the Lumia 630 i have emails but i can't make or receive any calls as no service keeps appearing on screen, what do i do?

Try powering down, remove the SIM and make sure it gets put back in firmly and seats correctly...

If the above does not work:
Test the SIM by trying the SIM in another phone. Does it work? SIM good. Does it fail? SIM bad. Get a new SIM.
Test the SIM tray in your phone by trying another SIM in your phone. Does it work? SIM tray good. Does it fail? SIM tray bad, seek repair.
