I have an HP laptop ,windows 8.i with bing ,2 GB,can I get windows 10 download

No windows symbol has appeared on the right hand side of my laptop, does this mean I won't be able to get windows 10

Yes you'll be able to download W10 if you have a legal copy of Windows.

Is your updates set to automatic? Have you done any recent updates?

How old is the laptop, did you just buy it?

This is just a guess but I think that members of Windows Insider are getting first dibs. I already received my invitation but my wife's desktop has not, and neither has my desktop at work. They're all legal, activated copies and are all set to receive updates but I'm the only Insider that's registered. Again, it's just a guess.

We have the same problem though. I have a HP laptop with Windows 8.1 single language with Bing.
