Windows 7 activation problem

At first sorry for my english.
I've a komplicated problem with the activation. So I've brought a new laptop 1 month ago and I'm installed my friend's windows on my new laptop, because our university's server(MSDNAA things) is not worked(because some hackers broke up). My friend doesn't want to give me his product key and of course I dont blame for this(this is just a requied information). So this server is now working, so I can get my own win7, but i don't want to reinstall the whole laptop(this is a lot of time). So I need my own productID, and then I can rewrite the registry. I think the easiest way, if I find this ID on the win7.iso.
I don't know, is someone who can understand me?xD
Of course, if this is a bull**** idea, I'll install my own windows in a virtualbox and there will I get the ID.
