Problem adding google account on outlook

I have installed build 10149 of windows mobile 10 on my 1020. It's a great leap from the preceding builds, but the only frustrating issue is I can't add google account to outlook. After registering my google credentials the whole process stuck at " accept" pressing accept did not lead to the next stage. Several minutes after pressing accept an error message would crop up. Does anyone have idea on how to fix this?

I guess 10149 is just not playing nice with Gmail. Even established Gmail accounts are getting Borked on update to 10149.
