How can I turn off double touch

I accidentally switched on the amber update and now my screen has stopped sliding, and I cant go back to amber update any more, please help

There is nothing called "double touch". Also which device do you have you should be at Cyan at least Amber is really old. Try Hard Resetting and update your firmware afterwards.

I think he means double tap to wake. If so, it is in settings under Touch on my Lumia - though I have Denim, so the settings layout might be different.

I think the OP should see if there are additional updates and install them because there's a awful lot of goodies he's missing out on.
