Unlock 4e core on athlon X3

Is it a good Idea to unlock the hidden 4 e core on my athlon X3 460, my motherboard supports it and the bios reports core0123, but is it going to break my CPU

If you motherboard allows the core unlock feature, i don't see any problem to do it. Sometimes the board can detect the extra core in the CPU, but it could be factory damaged and unable to unlock even it's present in BIOS detection, but that would be a unlucky possibility, most likely the extra core can be unlocked with no problem.

I tried to unlock it and ended up with resetting the bios
