[Yellow Lumia 1020] Where can I buy one?

I would like to buy a Lumia 1020 Yellow Brand New. Did M$ discontinue the phone already. Anyone know where I can buy one preferable with manufacture warranty.

Hello,

The Nokia Lumia 1020 has reached "end of life" last September 2014. There's discussion as to what that means exactly, but most probably that means that Nokia is no longer manufacturing the phone (since Nokia as we know it no longer exists). Most warranties for the L1020 should have also lapsed by now.

It may be difficult to purchase a brand new Lumia 1020 now with the one-year manufacturer's warranty, though you could still try browsing online stores for one.

I was wondering the exact same thing, especially considering Daniel's revelation in the "6 phones" article that there is no 1030 or 1040 specifically in development right now. I had really thought the 1020 signaled the future of phone cameras but it looks like the 1020 is the best we'll see for a while. Not seeing any new phones for sale through MS or Amazon, so I think the chances of snagging a brand new one are slim. I guess we'll see how good of camera the cityman ends up having...

It turns out there are still some 'new' 1020's for sale through Amazon if you search Lumia 1020 and filter for 'new'. However most are international version without warranty. There is a seller with new AT&T 1020s, but the sell ratings are very low and seller reviews are not exactly the kind to make me rush to buy. So they are out there, ranging from $300-$400.

Ebay. Still got my yellow 1020. Might get a successor in future you never know. Wouldn't get my hopes up however.
