Would HDMI output work on the Windows HTC One M8?

So I've been considering getting the HTC One M8 for Windows, since I want a flagship and I know I probably won't be able to afford the ones that come out with Windows 10. I started looking at One M8 accessories, and I found this: Ultrathin HDMI Desktop Dock for HTC ONE (M8)- KiDiGi | Smart Phone & Tablet Accessories What I'm wanting to know is (and I know it may be a dumb question) would the HDMI output on the dock work with the Windows Phone version?
