Why won't my Nokia Lumia 635 turn on?

I brought my new phone today and about 2 hours later it's stopped working. Every time it's switched on, it shows the Nokia sign, the screen turns blue and shows a sad face for about 30-40 seconds, vibrates and then the screen goes black and it just keeps doing that. Since it's new, I put it on charge for a while but it doesn't seen to be making a difference. I've read the manual but there isn't really that much information. What shall I do?
