Can Surface's Type Cover 2 work on Surface 3?

Hi, guys. I just bought a Surface 3, but as I live outside the States, I bought it without the Type Cover and I only can buy the Type Cover 2. So, despite the look and that the Surface will be larger than the Cover, which I can perfectly live with, will it work?

Yes, it'll work, just won't fit the screen completely when folded.
