How can I customize the text alert tone in Lumia 535 ??

how can I customize the text alert tone in Lumia 535 and for a specific contact the ring tone and text alert tone options are not responding.

Welcome to Windows Central.

To customize the ring tone and SMS tone for any contact, simply go to your People Hub, tap on the contact of concern and tap on the edit icon - you would see "+ ringtone" and "+text tone" in which you can make the aforementioned customization.

I tried it but the buttons +ringtone and + text alert tone are not responding while other buttons are responding..

Hmm, that is strange. Have you tried restarting your phone before trying again?

Turn of the ringer....that always "customizes" it...
