I have a Windows Phone OS 8.1 and have wiped out IMEI code of mobile. How do I get it back?

Have Windows Phone OS 8.1 have wiped out IMEI code of mobile

(Me_Mayur): I am using Nokia Lumia 520 since last about 2 years, but about two days ago (23rd July 2015), my phone automatically gone in flight mode and I am not able to remove it from flight mode, also not able to detect the SIM (tried with voice calling service provider is Vodafone and Airtel) still not working. Recently my winodows phone updated with OS 8.1 automatically as i was in Wi-Fi zone.
Does new Windows Phone OS 8.1 have any problem, can it wipe out IMEI code of Lumia phones? If yes how to reinstate?

IMEI's aren't simply wiped.
Did you soft reset the phone? Sometimes they get stuck in flight mode.
Press and hold the power and volume down keys for 10-15 seconds, or until the phone vibrates I guess.

You may need to hard reset the phone and start clean.

It could be a chip failure. Updates are hard on phones. Something might have been ready to give out...
