I currently have a band and have read where there is a tile that can monitor blood glucose levels using another third party hardware device? Being a Type 1 diabetic, this is a big deal for me and would be interested in becoming a tester.
I am also a Type 1 diabetic and I'd love to have something like this available. AFAIK there isn't much available for this yet on mobile devices. My Dr. and I discuss it when I see him.
I'd love for some kind of monitoring to be available from outside the skin. The closest I know of to this is that Google is working on a contact lens that monitors blood sugar. Last I heard it's not anywhere near public release. Otherwise, the only monitoring available so far is via hypodermic needles.
