Windows 10 and Mini Laptop

Will Windows 10 work fine on a mini laptop with 2Gb RAM, 1024X768 screen resolution? I asked because when I upgraded to Windows 8 I encountered problem running metro apps and accessing windows store. Has Microsoft done something this time around that will make everything work fine when Windows 10 is installed on a mini laptop?

I can now confirm that the new os can successfully run on the mini laptop

The important factor isn't the size, but is what's under-the-hood.

2 GB of RAM is OK for Windows today, maybe not the best for the more demanding side of users, and I'm pretty sure 1024x768 is the lowest resolution allowed.

What's the model? there are the underpowered netbooks of old and the small, more powerful tablets of today, etc. Mini laptop is pretty generic.
