How do I fix the problem where cannot read memory in windows 10?

[Windows Central Question]

A pop up comes up and says that there is a "WerFault.exe - Application Error"
then it says " the instruction at 0x00007ffc30320100 referenced memory at 0xfffffffffff.... the memory could not be read.
click on OK to terminate the program.

This happens when I load up most applications and windows, so I cannot get to windows update to get anything new.
