Cortana replies by entering search mode. Can it be set to activate voice only?

When I ask Cortana just about anything, it loads options in search mode that have to be read. Not a good idea when driving. Is there a way to get Cortana to answer in voice mode only?

no..she is a non talking voice assistant...except for the parlour tricks. Would be nice if she could or would say my name in recognition when I say Hey Cortana
