how to upgarde after installation ?

my windows 10 package has been downloaded but its not updating.
every time update get failed. i downloaded media creation thing to initiate the update . after i chose upgrade to windows 10 , a new window opens and says something happened. what does that mean ? what to do now please help me.
and i checked my compatibility it is ok. my pc can install windows 10. please help.

Are you getting 80240020 error code when you try to update?
