Windows 10 Deleted my documents, desktop files. help.

so i've been using the windows 10 insider preview for a while now and as i'm sure many people know windows 10 likes to update whenever it wants. so i turned on my computer like any normal day and when i log in my desktop and document files are all GONE. rather perculiarly Program Files x86 is still there, so i have all my applications.

Can anyone explain why this has happened?

i have the same problem. stupid Microsoft, why have they released this rubbish operating system that doesn't work. a few days ago my start button wouldn't work (common problem), today I started the computer, and all my desktop files are deleted, and all my files in documents folder!!! this is unacceptable. Windows is going so downhill, that soon no one will be using it. I am switching to Apple and Linux.but before that, I need my files back!
