My years of music is jacked up.....

[Windows Central Question]

over the years i have transferred all my old LP's and cassette tapes to my PC. they worked great listened to tons of them daily. after upgrading to windows 10 yesterday none of them work now!! they show up like they are there with the proper tags, but when i go to play them all i get now is static and synthesized noise. i am not a happy panda right now. anyone have any fixes for this?

Maybe for some reason after the W10 installation, the audio codecs are just gone... here you can download the most important media codecs for your PC. Also you can use the VLC media player if for some reason the current media player is not working properly.
