Why is my zoom messing up?

Since i updated to windows ten, i have had problems with the display settings. The worst point it has reached is today. My display setting of the "size of text, apps, and other items" is set to 100%, as it has been since i updated. But today, when i signed into my laptop, all of my programs and apps were normal size, but steam and skype were zoomed in a lot, which i couldnt change with the settings of those apps. When i changed the settings to max size, then back, i signed out and in again. Now all of my apps are zoomed out, except for steam and skype. Is there anything i can do to fix this?
