Why do most of the tiles and text turned black on my Lumia 640?

Most of the tiles and text turned black on Lumia640

Hi all:

Yesterday I got the Lumia 640 (previously an iPhone user)
I like the phone and spent few hours with it setting up.

All of a sudden, most of the tiles and text turned black
Some of the tiles like Office, FB are still in original color.

I tried a reset, but that did not help.
I have changed the screen color to White but no change.

Go to settings - ease of access, and check if the high contrast is on.. If it is on turn it off...
