Why aren't I getting an update for Windows 10?

Not getting update for Windows 10

I'm having problems getting the update for Windows 10.
I have desk top running fourth gen Intel I3 and a Asus T100 tablet. nether one is getting the update
I followed the directions from the article "How to manually trigger update" but it did not work on my Asus T100 and I'm not sure if I want to do it with my desk top.
Should I just be patient and keep waiting or is their something else I should try.
Help

use Windows 10 media creation tool

Windows 10

run it, then choose "upgrade this PC"
OR
choose "create installation media for another PC" to upgrade multiple devices without downloading the upgrade more than 1 time "it will download the ISO file of the edition that you choose"

if you are going to create an installation media, it will ask you to choose an edition to download, download the right edition with the right architecture and language that you can upgrade to from your current edition
