Windows 10 and adding e-mail account to outlook 2013

[Windows Central Question]

Fresh build of Windows 10. Installed office 2013 and now wanted to get Hotmail and gmail accounts added. every time I try that it does NOT accept the password. just keeps on prompting for password. I did check the remember password box. any assistance is appreciated.

Use Manual setup. Click next
Click second option (Outlook/Exchange active sync)
There give your details and use mail server as s.outlook.com
For google follow the same procedure and use mail server as m.google.com (this wont work for google)

Edit :
For google you can just add the mail
[h=4]Enable IMAP in your Gmail settings[/h]

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click the gear in the top right

3. Select Settings.
4. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
5. Select Enable IMAP.
6. Click Save Changes.
