Lenovo Yoga 13 Sound Not Working After Windows 10 Upgrade

I recently upgraded to windows 10, and after the upgrade, my sound was no longer working.

Has anyone encountered this same problem?
If so, are there any solutions to it?

Did you try with updated Audio Driver from Lenovo support site? As far as I see only 64-bit version is supported.

Quite likely you need new drivers. And an uninstall of the old drivers first.


Check the OEM Support site for your device and/or the hardware component. Download new drivers if they can be found... Open Device Manager and expand the component category.

Disable the device and uninstall the drivers for it. Reboot. Run the driver install utility you downloaded from your OEM. Reboot, even if it does not advise you to...

I encountered the same problem. I contacted a tech. in "contact support". He first used system troubleshoot, and then updated device drivers from device manager. By right-click on the name of the sound device, you can see the "update driver software" option. Then choose "automatically..." or "browse...". The default driver failed to install. Then he tried another one from "browse..". It installed successfully. Finally everything is working. Hope my experience can give you some hints to solve this problem.
