Can I get some help starting my laptop after downloading Windows 10?

I need help starting my laptop after downloading Windows 10

Started downloading windows 10, a screen came up saying to uninstall HP safety and that I could reinstall after download so I clicked yes. Then a screen came up saying system needed to restart so I clicked okay. The laptop now starts,goes to HPInvent screen says press the ESC key for Startup Menu and then goes to a screen showing the F1,F2,F7,F9 and F10 keys along with the ENTER key to select. HELP please just want to go back to windows 7 how can I remedy this?i would like to download windows10 but not if it's going to cause there kinds of problems. How do I solve this issue? Do I need to use factory default and if so will I lose everything????,....................._____________________________________________________________________________

You may lose everything if you click on factory default not sure if you will get an option to save files.. what other options does it give you?
