The Cortana Search Bar isn?t working, how can i fix it?

When I click on The Cortana Search Bar on the side of Start Menu, it get?s a lighter color and then it comes back to the standart way, I can?t open it and not even search for my archives on Windows, because I can?t even type a single letter. Please, how can I fix it?
