Video playing problem after upgrading to Windows 10

[WPCentral Question]

This crazy problem I am having while playing video after upgrading to windows 10. VLC shows only green screen and audio while playing for first instance and WMP is unable to play at all. But running a second instance in VLC, while pausing and minimizing the first instance (the green screen one), plays fine with both audio and video. WMP is also able to play the video this way.... any solution??....
