Why won't my MSN email account allow me to type text anymore?

Windows Central Question

I just spent 3 long days getting Windows 10 to install on my Toshiba Satellite laptop. Everything seems to be working well except my MSN email account. I am receiving emails but when I try to type a reply or an original email nothing happens. It won't let me type any text.
