After much frustration and many issues with windows 10, I decided to go back to windows 7 on my laptop - and of course now my keyboard and mouse are not working. I can't get past the log in screen, because I'm unable to enter my password. After forcing a shutdown, I'm able to use the keyboard on the setup screen (I even tried selecting safe mode, and had the exact same problem once I reached the log in screen). What's going on, and how do I fix this?? I almost think Microsoft should be paying us for all our troubles with this terrible "upgrade."

were you able to resolve this? The same thing happened to me. I tried going back to Windows 7 and now I'm at the log in screen and it's not detecting my mouse or keyboard.
