Why does my Lumia 735 shut down and restarts by itself?

My lumia 735 shuts down and restarts by itself.

Sometimes it does it when I answer a call even when I am using my Bluetooth headset. Other times it will shut down when I try to flip up the lock screen. It has also shut down at the end of an audio I've been listening to.

What I would do is restore it with the Windows Phone recovery tool (make sure you back it up, since it will be erased)

and test drive it for a couple days - see if it still reboots.

If it still reboots, get in touch with MS support with your random reboot issue. Let them know you've done the Recovery Tool and that it is a hardware problem + warranty replacement is the way to go.

I ran into a similar thing a few weeks ago, and I had to ship it back twice before they fixed it. The first time they (understandably) just restored the phone and shipped it back.
