Edge and the apps menu have disappeared, and the search function does not work

Edge and the apps menu have disappear, and the search function does not work, anyone got any ideas?
Two days ago as I booted up I watched the Edge icon disappear. Up until that point everything worked fine.

I'm having the same problem and have yet to find a solution. I did notice that some of this occurred when I got a notification about Norton 360 extensions. Perhaps there is a correlation. I hope there is a fix soon.
