Windows Central Question

I upgraded to Win 10 from 8.1, but got a Window's 10 Critical Error. I was able to uninstall Avast to get rid of that Critical Error message, but I am wondering if that error will return, so I am thinking of going back to 8.1 until things are figured out. If I go back to 8.1, will I be able to upgrade again to Windows 10 if I do it within the year?

I think a lot of 3rd party anti virus programs need to be updated and avast could be one of them. I was "trying" to use webroot with the TP and it caused all kinds of issues. I contacted webroot and was told they will not support W10 until it is officially released (which makes sense). Maybe avast is taking too long <shrug>
