Windows Central Question

I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 with Straight Talk, but I cannot open the Data Pics Message MMS

go to setting>cellular/sim>manual apn>add mms apn. I'm on W10 TP right now but I think this is the correct route in 8.1. Restart after you input apn. Sometimes this takes few minutes to kick in. Data apn is "tfdata" and nothing else. make sure the IP types match in data and mms.

Mary Beth,

Is this still working with the latest WP10 preview build? My phone was working great with 8.1, but can't get it to send or receive MMS (photos) with the latest preview builds. I have a 1520 on StraightTalk (AT&T).

Yes it works with 10512. It's set up a bit differently though.
Settings>cellular/sim>add apn
Add apns for data and mms separately.
After each one tap "save".
When you back out tap each one again.
Tap "details">tap "apply".
You should then see "activated" for data apn and "applied" for mms apn.
Hope that's correct. I'm at work and have my android work phone so trying to remember how those settings looked.
I think that's correct. I am also using an unlocked 1520 with a ST AT&T SIM.

After god-know-how-many settings edits and restarts, finally got the Lumia 635 w/ Win10 10152 to send and receive mms/pics with these settings for Straight Talk:

APN: tfdata
Type: IPV4 (only)
Proxy server: mms3tracfone.com
Proxy port: 80
MMSC URL: hxxp://mms-tf.net (http due to text requirement)
MMSC port: (blank!)
Maximum MMS Size: (blank)
