Why have I no longer got AVG security having upgraded to Windows 10?

On Windows 7 I had AVG security ie. antivirus etc, for which I had paid - it appears to have been removed?

I read on Microsoft windows 10 install page that any antivirus needs to be removed before upgrade to 10. Upgrade sets Windows Defender as default antivirus, and logically disables other antivirus software. So you have to download AVG and reinstall it. That will set AVG as default antivirus.

That is right. Just reinstall it. Guess they remove it due to upgrade problems with blocked access
