Welcome to Windows Central.

Depending on the OS version you're running, head over to Settings > Lock Screen > Screen times out after > never. This is possible with 8.10.15116.125 (Update 2), but apparently this is not possible in 8.10.14226.359 (Update 1).

It depends on two things: your phone and the OS version of your phone. I don' t have a Lumia 520, but if you see the "never" option in the said Lock Screen Settings page, then congratulations. If the option is missing, then tough luck. As an illustration, my L1020 doesn't have that option, but my sister's L535 has it.

I have a Vodafone Lumia 820. Vodafone doesn't allow to set the "never" option.
