Why lumia 830 display is so expensive (it costs around 15000 Rs)

My lumia 830 display got broken, and when I visited Nokia care, I was shocked to know that new display will cost around 15k Rs.

Is it fare to cost more than half the amount of total cost of the phone just for display.
