Windows 10 Removed the "Sleep" option from power, how can I get it back?

I need to set this computer on sleep while I research, the option is gone. I continue to have extensive unresolved problems with Windows 10. The task bar will not set the Wi-Fi shortcut app. Word states more than one user is using the file (impossible) and asks me to save it as something else.
Are others experiencing time consuming problems with Windows 10.
I get error message 0x80040304 when I try to download my files.
