Do i need to keep Bluetooth enable all the time on my phone while using the Band

Have just bought a Band and just wonder if I need to keep Bluetooth running on my phone all the time. Thinking that it will drain batteries life quicker?

As any other connected device, Bluetooth should be ON on both devices, note that WP8.1 supports Bluetooth LE, which uses low energy

If you are going to manually sync with your PC or phone (via BT of course) and don't want notifications then no. It will still work counting steps and monitoring your activity but you have to sync at some point as it wont store infinite data.
