Why am I receiving blank messages instead of text from only one contact?

Receiving blank messages instead of text from only one contact

i am not able to receive message from my one contact. he sends me the text message but i am not able to receive that message instead i receive a blank message from his side..i am not even able to see his last seen but in another android phones his profile picture is visible and his last seen can be viewed and also last seen..
Please help me...

We may need more details. Also, it is not necessary to post duplicates of the same question.

What app are you referring to? I deduce that you're not referring to SMS.

Have you tried check if that contact has a duplicate entry in the list of your contacts, if applicable?
