My printer, HP6500, does not interact with Windows 10 files, what do I do>

I have a similar model HP Printer, not the exact same one, mind you. It is working fine with Windows 10. However, I had to reinstall the drivers as they did not carry over with the upgrade properly. The Windows 8.1 driver seems to work just fine, which is what was previously installed, but a reinstall of the driver fixed all my issues with the printer.
